In most regards, I agree. It is hella tough, it is light and compact, and it works.
The downside is that if you move into unconventional firing positions, the dot can be difficult to grab. Try firing modified prone under a vehicle and you'll see what I mean.
In that circumstance (and in that the battery for the SRS is a AA, which are in no short supply and are not difficult to find), and the SRS is a winner.
I will say the T1 is the better all-around optic at this moment, but that might change with time on the SRS.
